Terms of Service

Draft pending legal review
This text describes how the product currently works and has not yet been reviewed by counsel. It is not a substitute for final terms.

The service

Translatera translates text, documents and images, looks words up in a dictionary, rewrites text and transcribes speech. Results are produced by automated machine translation and language models, so they may be inaccurate or unsuitable for a given purpose. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions without human review.

Your account

You can use a limited set of features without an account. Signing in requires an email address you control, or a Google account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to your inbox secure.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, to upload content you have no right to process, or to attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans and quotas

Free and anonymous use is subject to daily limits per feature. Paid plans lift those limits and are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Account page; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Your content

You keep all rights to the text, documents and images you submit. We process them only to produce the output you asked for and to show you your own history, and we do not sell them.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular translation quality, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding period, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes; material changes will be announced in the app. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
